Het platteland van Portugal is op veel plaatsen pittoresk door zijn verwaarlozing. De boosheid over bureaucratische planning wordt zichtbaar. Maar in de straat heerst de emotie. De fado, veelal gezongen vanuit het hart, het hart van het gewone volk. Maar uiteindelijk zien we in Lissabon hoe trots Portugal is op zijn historie als varende wereldheerser. Wat een diversiteit. Portugal, een pracht land!
