Leefbaarheid, groen en structuur

In Singapore is gebouwd op een schaal die wij ons niet kunnen voorstellen. Zo giga groot. Toch hebben de stedenbouwkundigen met succes een stad neer gezet waarin vel aandacht is voor leefbaarheid en groen, en de bouwkundige structuur zo is dat communities makkelijk ontstaan. Het is wennen aan deze -voor ons onbekende-verhoudingen. Maar het voelt eigenlijk wel goed.

Vanuit ons hotelletje in Chinatown zitten we al snel tussen de chinezen op de straathoek. Ze dammen, spelen mahjong of iets anders. Als er maar geld ingezet kan worden. We zagen bij  het dammen echt honderden dollars over de tafel gaan. In de volgende blog hebben we Singapore verlaten en gaan eerst op bezoek bij dochter Sangita in Sydney. De avonturen daarna zie je vanuit ons kleine slaapbusje. Blijf ons volgen, leef mee, en stuur af en toe eens een reactie. Super leuk om iets van je te horen……….
